Berlin

Highlights:
- staying with Julia, an old friend whom I had stayed with during my first trip to Europe on a high school Model UN trip: included reminiscing and catching up, watching movies almost every night, and gorging ourselves on sweets and "american" popcorn.
- the (surpisingly?) friendliness of the Germans. love the accent when they speak english.
- i am in love with the Berlin transportation system. love love love.
- recent and ancient history coming together to form a most cosmopolitan, diverse and beautifully thriving city.
- taking a private tour of the Reichstag (Parliament) building, complete with a Bavarian tour group wearing leiderhosen and dancing. I kid you not.
